Privacy Policy

Workout Counter · Effective 11 October 2026

Workout Counter counts your reps out loud and times your rest between sets. It does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal information.

What the app does not do

• No accounts, sign-in or registration.
• No analytics, tracking, advertising or crash-reporting services.
• No access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos or health data.
• No sale or sharing of data with third parties, because none is collected.

Data kept on your device

The app remembers the last workout settings you entered (sets, reps, seconds per rep, rest and countdown) so they are filled in next time. These numbers are stored only on your device and never leave it. Deleting the app, or clearing its data, removes them.

Spoken counts

Rep numbers are spoken by your device's built-in text-to-speech voice. The app only sends it short phrases such as numbers, "Get ready", "Set 2" and "Done".

Web version

The web version is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web server, GitHub may log technical details of requests, such as IP addresses, to operate the service. See the GitHub Privacy Statement. The installed apps for iPhone and Android contain everything they need and work without a network connection.

Children

The app collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
